Dear Dataminer Colleagues,
some time ago I have updated MS Visual Studio to version 2022 and installed DIS, NuGET packages and else, but the "Snippets" option doesn't appear in the right-click submenu. Everything is updated to the latest version. I can't find any documentation, Kata Videos, or some where else that mentions how to install the package if it doesn't appear. Could somebody give me some clue?
Thanks and keep Thundering!
Hi Thomas,
For the XML language, I think they're all there, but for the C# language, I suspect some aren't loading correctly. I've tested with both XML and C# files, and for neither, the snippet appears in the context menu. Calling snippets using the shortcut ctrl+k, ctrl+x works properly. Although for C# files not all snippets are available.
Hi Francisco,
Could you check if you can open the snippets menu via the default Ctrl+k, Ctrl+x shortcut? Note: the snippets will only appear when editing cs or xml files.
Do the snippets appear in the Code Snippets Manager?

Hi Francisco,
Sorry for the delayed follow-up. It looks like I didn’t receive a notification for your reply.
Are you still experiencing this issue with snippets?
From your screenshots, Visual Studio appears to recognize the snippets correctly. It seems like the problem is specifically with the Insert Snippet context menu.
For C# files, you mentioned that not all snippets are available when using the shortcut. Could you let me know which specific C# snippets are missing, or share a screenshot or list for comparison? That could help me determine cause of the issue.
