SLNet Test and Save Connection issue

I was working on SLNet option where I login/connect using a valid username with password and the system prompts: Connection with SLNet has failed.

While I login using a valid username without a password and the system prompts: Connection with SLNet was successful.

As extra info: this question is about the Options window of the Taskbar Utility application (DataMiner icon in the Windows taskbar notification area when directly logged into a DataMiner Agent)

Hi,

If either the Username or the Password field is left empty, we try to log in using the current windows user instead of using those credentials.

So if your current windows user has access to the DMA, that would explain this behavior.

How about on my first screenshot where I use a valid username and password but the system prompts: Connection with SLNet has failed.
