Hi,

Can the SLAlerter tool be configured in such a way that only a sound notification is triggered, but no balloon popup, in case alarms occur that match the configured filter(s)?

Hi Ruben,

It is currently possible to auto-hide the balloon.
it looks like the minimum is 1000 msec (see first option).

I would suggest to create a task for Data Insights and explain your use story.
2 proposals: decrease the minimum of msec, or accept the value 0/-1 which translates to not showing the balloon.

The hidding and showing of the balloon is not determined by the “Automatically hide BalloonNotification” setting. It is determined by the Filter section in the settings. For each selected filter a balloon will be shown. Playing the sound is linked to the balloon as it influence the sound. e.g. if a sound starts to play and you close the balloon before the sound finised playing, it will stop playing the sound.
