Is there a way to increase the size of a logfile.
When we set debug-level to level-1, there is so much logging that after 1 minute the logs are already overwritten.
So to see what exactly is wrong on an issue that happens randomly once an hour : it is not usable

Half solved. We can increase it, but not per element => big disadvantage.
BTW : since 10.2 the logmessages are cut-off : this is a bigger disadvantage, and prevents us to upgrade savely from 10.1 to 10.2.

Hi Cristel,
In 10.2, we have indeed built in a safety mechanism to limit to 5KB logs. How big are the logs you are trying to get in? And how frequently are they being done?
Hi Cristel,
The size of logfiles can be increased in System center-> System settings-> logging.
kind regards,
thanks for the fast reply
Is there a way to increase the size of 1 particular logfile, because we have to increase it with a factor 10 at least. If we do that on all logile…

Hi Cristel, unfortunately not. Currently the setting applies to all logfiles and there are no per-file overrides.
This could be a neat new feature though.
