Hi,

I have notices some people when sharing their DevOps attestation of membership on LinkedIn, it shows their current level. I'm currently an advocate, but it always shows member when I share the certificate link.

I also ran into this issue and apparently it's due to the caching of images on the side of LinkedIn. They launched a tool, Post Inspector, that will help you clear the LinkedIn Preview cache.

This should be the workaround:

  1. Go to Skyline | Certificates | Search Certificate (dataminer.services).
  2. Enter and validate your certificate.
  3. Copy the URL “https://certificates.dataminer.services/Certificate/...”
  4. Go to Post Inspector (linkedin.com)
  5. Enter the URL you copied and click on Inspect.
  6. When the tool has finished running, you will see that the preview image has been updated.
  7. Click on the LinkedIn share button.
  8. Go to the LinkedIn sharing page and refresh it, you will see that the correct image is now displayed.
  9. Share your post.
