In IDP Configuration it's necessary to define working folders for the DMAs.
The DMA has a failover setup using a shared hostname.
Accessing the shared folder however does not work using that shared hostname.
I found online that other people also had problems with shared folders using an 'alias' hostname, but I'm struggling to find the solution. I'm looking for a Windows expert familiar with these commands and what they do.
I'm also not sure what proposed methods are safe to use on a DMA.

Hi Jeroen,
i confirmed with the IDP team, this method should be just fine
thanks for confirming
I found a workaround by creating a shared folder on an external server and by mapping it as a network drive on both main and back DMA servers.
This seems to be accepted by the IDP Configuration, but let me know if there is a better way.
