Hi,

I’m trying to create a dashboard for our TV services. Right now if you select a service, serviceid is given to the dashboard. But how I can access now the elements of this serviceid? Do I need to send them also via Visio to the dashboard? Or is it possible to use GQI with this serviceid to select an element?

I see that this question has been inactive for some time. Do you still need help with this? If not, could you select the answer (using the ✓ icon) to indicate that the question is resolved?

Hi Stefan,

I remember a similar question:

Dashboard GQI Custom Operator and Services

As far as I know there is no GQI data source that can provide you this information (elements included in a service). You will probably need an ad-hoc data source.

For your information, there is an ad-hoc in Github that provides alarms in a service (GQIDSServiceAlarms). I am not sure if this one will fit your use case, but it could be used as reference to build a new ad-hoc data source that provides the elements included in a service.

Hope it helps.

Hi Miguel,
first many thanks for all your help and was nice to see you at the empower event. I wanted to say it in person, but you where occupied by other people and afterwards I didn’t see you 🙂

I will go through if it’s working. But I don’t have “Get ad hoc data”, in which version is it available? This weekend I will go for 10 days on vacation but afterwards I would start with an upgrade if needed and to dig deeper.

Hi Stefan,
You’re welcome!
In order to see the data source ‘Get ad hoc data’ you need to have at least one ad-hoc data source in the DMA. Can you try uploading the ad-hoc data source provided in the previous answer in your DMA?
