Hi All,

I have been looking into scheduling alarm templates, but wondered if you scheduled Alarm Template 1 for example to be on between 0900 and 1700 can you schedule another to be on say Alarm Template 2 between 1700 and 0900?

Thanks

Not a full answer – but I believe in some cases this can be also handled on the element itself – it used to be the case with VB220/VB330 protocols

I'm not sure if there's an easier way now but I used to do this with automation scripts. You can very easily create a simple automation script to Assign Template to an element, and then use the Scheduler module to set when you want that script to run.

You could include some logic in the script to specify if Alarm Template 1 is active, set the template to Alarm template 2, and then run the script at the desired times etc. I found this gives good control over when you want to set and change templates on elements on a schedule.
