Scheduled Alarm Report Last 24 hours

Solved248 views3 days agoGQI report Reports and Dashboards Scheduler

Hi,

How can I create a scheduled report – based a Dashboard – which will each day send out the alarms that have been generated the previous day?

  • In a GQI alarm query, only absolute time values can be configured
  • When linking the query to a time range component, we have the option to select ‘Yesterday’, but when a scheduled task is created for this dashboard, the configuration only seems to allow entering absolute time values

Hi Ruben,

The way to go here is indeed by including a time range component on the dashboard and linking it to the query. When configuring this component, you should be able to make the same configuration as on the dashboard itself.

(Note, this new UI is from DataMiner >= 10.5.3)

It is also possible to configure a default value in the component settings of the time range. This will then be used when generating the report without the need to select a new range in the configuration window.

Thanks, will check again with version 10.5.3 or newer, as I don't see the preset options in the Scheduler at the moment. Will also try with the default setting. Thanks!

Hi ruben,
Note that these presets can be configured in the layout settings (layout -> advanced -> presets). By default, there should be some enabled. This is applicable to the old & new UI.
