Is there a way to give elements a R/W separation / several replication users for one connection.
Configurable on the replication servers level and user level needed.
Can user management be done from the source DMA on the remote DMA?
e.g. Element replication of a SatNMS will provide the entire RF system to the replicating DMA - here a segregation is needed.
Hi Christian,
It's not possible to configure the security settings of user 3 & 4 on cluster A.
You need to configure user 1 & 2 on cluster A, and user 3 & 4 on cluster B. There is actually also one or more users you need to do the replication. When adding device 1, 2 and 3 on cluster B, you need to specify as which user it needs to go and fetch the data from cluster A. And those users need to be added on cluster A with the correct security settings.
In other words, you can configure device 1 on cluster B to log in as user D1 on cluster A, and do the same for device 2 with user D2 and device 3 with user D3. Then you can configure in cluster A if user D1 has read-only or read/write access. But this would then be enforced for all users on cluster B connecting to this device 1, namely user 3 & 4.
If individual configuration is needed for user 3 & 4, you need to connect to cluster B to configure this...
