I have an element that uses a smart-serial driver and listens on a specific port. Sometimes the port becomes locked and the element stops receiving information (nothing appears in the Stream Viewer), I have confirmed with Wireshark taht the info is reaching the DMA. When I stop the element, and it's the only one using that port, netstat in PowerShell still shows it as being used by SLPort. Is there a way to release the port without restarting DataMiner? Is it possible to restart only the SLPort process without affecting the operation of the other elements? It is a production DMA.
