Relationship between IDX and Interface Description

Hi

I use Arista drivers ver,2.0.7.6.
Changing the interface description changes "IfTable IDX" in Dataminer, which is inconvenient.

Is there a version that is not affected by Interface Description?

Postscript.
The index key exists, but it seems to be IDX that is referenced in Visio.
Every time you replace a device, description changes
When the Description changes, IDX changes.
It's inconvenient because when IDX changes, Visio has to be modified as well.

Hi Yuki,

Please could you elaborate a bit more your question? When you mention "Iftable IDX", are you referring to the Detailed Interface Info Main table?

What specific column do you see updated (in the element) when you update the interface description in the device?
