Is there a quick way to know the file size of my backup file before taking the Full DMA backup?
The reason I am asking is that I also want to check how much disk space I need to have as it needs to have twice the size of the backup data before taking the backup.

Hi Min,
As far as I know it is not possible to know the size of the backup before taking a full DMA backup. A possible workaround is to use the element monitoring the DMA (using the Microsoft Platform connector) to determine the free space available. For example, you could get the free space available (see table Disk Information) to trigger the backup.
As a side note, on production environments we try to store backup in a network share.
