A customer has IDP installed for a test. The license seems to be not valid anymore. An upgrade from 10.3.8 to 10.4. is not not working because of the missing IDP license.
How can IDP and also the Resource manager be properly uninstalled?
Regards
Hi João,
thanks for the answer. I was told that an upgrade to IDE 1.5 is not possible without a valid license. Is that true?
Is IDP involving the Resource Manager or was that installed by it's own?
In the System Center bpa I see two errors for SRM. No IDP license and no ResourceManager license. the customer only wants to update. No SRM, IDP or ReourceManager is needed. It can be removed completely.
btw. the LegacyReportsAndDashboards Tag was already set to true in SoftLaunchOptions.xml. Modified date is 08.03.2024
The complete term for the 2 errors under System Center -> Agents -> bpa is:
SRM Function Resrources Consistency
Hi,
As far as I am aware the IDP license should not impact installing IDP 1.5, you can deploy directly from the catalog to any of your cloud-connected agents.
In regards to IDP and Resource Manager, they are separate components. IDP is a solution that leverages DataMiner’s native Resource Manager module.
If you need assistance on how to remove any of the components from DataMiner, please do reach out to your Skyline contact or our Tech Support team
Oh, I think you showed it well. I’ll try to update to 1.5. Thx!
Just had a look. IDP version is 1.2.0-2303 CU2
