Hi,
I'm trying to update our staging environment to 10.4.6 in preperation of an production upgrade. however i got an BPA fail which already failed (and fixed) when upgrading to 10.4.3:
- Prerequisite VerifyNoLegacyReportsDashboards.dll failed: The system contains one or more legacy reports or legacy dashboards which might still be used. Either delete those first, or activate the soft-launch flag to keep on using the Legacy Reports and Dashboards. See https://aka.dataminer.services/VerifyNoLegacyReportsDashboards for more info.
Current version we are running is DataMiner (10.4.3.0-14001) so the reports and dashboards isn't available any more.
How can i resolve this stand-off with my staging?
I experienced the exact same thing yesterday and was going to edit the docs to make this clearer.
The files are located in C:\Skyline DataMiner\reports & C:\Skyline DataMiner\Webpages\Dashboards\db.
If you remove all of the aspx and config files in there you should be good to go.
Webpages\Reports\templates\Templates.xml should also have no child nodes apparently.
Just empty the whole folder or edit the Templates.xml?
Probably it can’t hurt in either case, but removing the file or emptying the nodes in it should do the trick in the safest way.
renamed the file and it passed the check.
they are all empty except for an PlaceHolder.txt in C:Skyline DataMinerWebpagesDashboardsdb
