Pair displayName Active Directory attribute to Full Name field in DataMiner

Hi,

I have a DataMiner server joined to a domain controller. In this Active Directory, for the user accounts, the “name” atribute is filled with the national identity card number and the “displayName” with the full name.

DataMiner is showing me in the field “Full Name”, the national id and is very annoying manage users by this number.

Is there a way to pair the field “Full Name” in DataMiner with the displayName attributte from the Active Directory?

Hi Fernando,

I think you can configure custom LDAP settings in your DataMiner.xml to map the Full Name field to the displayName in your AD. For more information see Active Directory under LDAP settings.
