Hello

What are the operating system requirements for installing DMA? Also can you confirm how long a OS will be supported by Skyline for installing DMA?

Found following links but they are not consistent in terms of the support for 2016 server edition.

Hi Srikanth,

Currently, DataMiner supports up to the latest Windows Server version (2022) and the lowest supported version is Windows Server 2012 R2 (but note this will be End of Life in 2023). We follow Microsoft in terms of support lifetime, so if a Windows Server version is still supported by Microsoft, it's supported by Skyline. (But this may change in the future).

DataMiner 10.1.0 (and 10.0 for that matter), should also support Windows Server 2019 & 2016. This is indeed not that clear on that Compute Requirements page.

It will be great if we can add OS requirements section under prerequisites for the installing DMA.
