Hi Dojo,

We currently have Elastic Cluster Monitor Elements to monitor the health of our Elastic Cluster.  With the move to OpenSearch, does an equivalent Connector exist?  Or is the existing Elastic Cluster Monitor Connector compatible with OpenSearch?

Thanks

Hi Dave,

According to the DataMiner Help (Elastic ElasticSearch Cluster Monitor), this connector can be used to monitor OpenSearch cluster.

The HTTP queries performed by this connector are intended to retrieve metrics that provide information on the current health status of the OpenSearch or Elasticsearch cluster.

Hope it helps.

Does this connector support usernames/passwords?
I tried the Elastic conenctor against our Opensearch cluster, that was built as per the Dataminer instructions which included username.password. I couldn’t get the connector to connect
