Need to merge multi alarms into a single alarm

Hello Team,

We have multi alarms with the same value for the same service but for different devices. Rather than having multi alarms. I would like to show only one alarm. I don’t want the to group the alarms. But need only on alarm instead of 4 alarms in this case.

Hi Ramesh,

You should be able to achieve this with a combination of a correlation rule that groups the alarms per service, and then an automation script to do the actual “combining” into a new alarm that is generated from the automation script.
The “base” alarms can from there be acknowledged to only show the new “combined” alarm.

More information can be found here: https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Advanced_Modules/Correlation/Adding_rule_actions/Running_an_Automation_script_from_a_Correlation_rule.html

Hope this gives you a rough idea on how to proceed.

Kind regards,
