Migration to Cassandra Cluster from Cassandra Single on an external node

Hi Dojo,

We’re going to migrate to Cassandra Cluster from a Cassandra-per-DMA configuration where Cassandra nodes are hosted on separate Linux servers.

Does the Cassandra migration tool (SLCCMigrator.exe) support migrating from such a configuration, or does the tool expect Cassandra to be running on the same server as the DMA?

Hi Alexander,

I did this with our Ziine system were we migrated from 1 single Cassandra Linux node to the same one with Cassandra Cluster configuration. I didn’t had any problems using a DM 10.3.x version.
