Hi,

DataMiner hardening guide states that "Your first step should be to make sure your system is always up to date. This includes the operating system and all installed software"

I would just like to get a confirmation that it includes the regular published security patches for
.NET Framework
.NET Hosting
.NET Runtime
AspNet Core
Microsoft Visual C++

Best Regards
Roger

Hi Roger,

You are correct on this. We highly recommend to install the security patches for .NET (hosting bundle), .NET framework (via OS updates), the OS itself, the Visual C++ distributables , but also for DataMiner and it's DxM's.

Kind regards,
