MediaOps.Live: Additional configuration required when adding a DMA?

Hi Dojo team,

We deployed the MediaOps.Live solution in a single DMA. We would like to add an extra DMA to our cluster to further enhance our integration. Is it required to perform an extra action in the MediaOps.Live solution?

I see that there is a MediaOps Mediation element deployed in the DMA. Do we need to provision a similar element in the new DMA?

Thanks!

Hi Miguel,

There should indeed be a MediaOps Mediation element for every agent in the cluster. These mediation elements are installed automatically as part of the MediaOps Live application deployment. If a new agent is added to the cluster, redeploying the application should automatically create the corresponding mediation element in the appropriate view.

Each mediation element is responsible for managing the elements hosted on the same DMA as the mediation element itself.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the information. I performed a test and can confirm that the mediation element is creating after re-deploying the MediaOps.Live package.
