Hi,

What are the prerequisites/requirements for installing, running, and accessing Low-Code Apps?

What is already known:

  • A DataMiner agent running version 10.2.5/10.3.0 or newer.
  • The Low-Code Apps license is installed on the DataMiner agent.
  • A modern web browser is made available on the client's host.
  • Access to https://[Your DataMiner Agent]/root from the client's host is allowed.
  • Correct user permissions are configured.
  • Cloud services are configured for remote access [Optional]
  • Other? (i.e., availability of an indexing node, supported data storage architectures, .NET framework packages, etc.)

Thanks in advance,

Hi Ciprian,

The indexing engine (Configuring an indexing database | DataMiner Docs) is necessary if specific features (DOM, SRM, UDAs, specific GQI data sources) will be used in combination with LCAs. This is not a concern if STaaS (Storage as a Service (STaaS) | DataMiner Docs) is used of course.

The apps should otherwise work fine with the standard DataMiner installation and the correct licensing and configuration setup (DataMiner Low-Code Apps | DataMiner Docs).

Thanks,
