Loading connector errors with XML Format not supported by DataMiner

When trying to load the current Generic Ping connector, I am receiving an error message "XML Format not supported by DataMiner".  In this case I downloaded the connector and used Protocol & Templates 'Upload' button.  I also tried using the Cloud Connected Deploy method which also failed.

I am using DataMiner version 10.4.2.0-13915

I was able to get Generic Ping versions  3.1.2.9, 3.1.2.13 and 3.1.2.14 to load.

However, when trying Generic Ping latest versions 4.0.0.1, 2 or 3 or older versions I am getting the XML Format error.

Any thoughts area appreciated.

Hi Steve,

Any particular reason why you would like to use driver range 4.0.0.x? Checking the version info, this driver range is tagged as obsolete. It is recommended to stick with the main driver range (3.1.2.x)

Hope it helps.

Hi Miguel, In this case I was trying different versions to see if I could find one where the import csv function worked and was surprised to see the unsupported xml for any published connector.

Hi Steve,
I believe this question is related to this one:
https://community.dataminer.services/question/key-error-when-trying-to-import-ping-configuration
In that question I was able to make the importing work using a version from the main driver range
Hope it helps.
