Hi Dojo,
I wanted to know if there are any logs for low code apps and if so, where can I find them?

Thank you

Hey Marco,

There is indeed some logging available for Low Code Apps. At C:\Skyline DataMiner\Logging\Web\Client you can find the files. You can find loading times of dashboards & pages and any console errors that may occur.

Let me know if this is what you wanted to know.

Hi Robin and thanks for your reply, but unfortunately I don’t have physical access to the server so I can’t look at the files you pointed me to. I thought I might be able to see some things from the cube or something. Thank you.

Robin Debel [SLC] [DevOps Enabler] commented 17th October 2024

Hi Marco,
I don’t know of any way to see logging on LCA in Cube. Out of curiosity, why did you want to check logs and what did you expect to see there?

Marco Virdis commented 17th October 2024

I want to check logs for a “nothing to show” message on an app page. I was hoping the logs would be on the cube, just to avoid asking the team network for server access 🙂

Sebastiaan Dumoulein [SLC] [DevOps Enabler] commented 21st October 2024

A ‘Nothing to show’ message will not be logged. That message is displayed whenever a visual has no data to display. This is typically the case when a query returns an empty data set.
