Have we ever done an integration with Java JMS? I couldn’t immediately find a connector in the catalog.
JMS is a powerful messaging system in Java that works with queues, producers, consumers (a bit like Kafka or RabbitMQ).
Scope: For integrating the NetCracker product in DataMiner, the vendor asked if we could connect to their JMS server to exchange data in both directions.
Additional question in case we didn’t integrate JMS. Is it technically feasible to integrate a Java product into our .NET connectors?

It is possible to integrate with JAVA using .Net and we have done this in the past by converting the native JAR libraries into DLLs that can be used by DataMiner connectors. The tool we have used to convert JARs into DLLs is called IKVM (IKVM.NET Tutorial).
Having said this, be aware that using a DLLs does come with limitations (e.g., the connectivity does not go via SLPort, which means detecting timeouts natively is not possible). Therefore, if there is a native interface (e.g., KAFKA offers a serial interface) we should try and use that.
