i am experiencing issues trying to retrieve templates via DIS - have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the extension, any suggestions on how to resolve this ?
if that can't help try with Vis 2019
if you in rush to try Vis 2019,otherwise i think is bug and It looks like this problem is too complex to find a solution for it in this Q&A. Could you contact tech support or use the "Send feedback" option in the DIS menu so we can investigate this in depth?
thanks Davor, i've just checked and Visual Studio 2022 is at the latest version (17.11.5) and it seems to be using Visual Studio 2019 is no longer possible. will send feedback for investigation as you recommend

As Davor pointed out, this can occur when the DIS extension is installed on a Visual Studio version that is outdated. Updating Visual Studio to the latest version (17.11.5) should resolve the issue. Note: Trying on VS2019 is not possible as recent versions of DIS are only supported on VS2022 and the templates functionality was not made available in DIS for VS2019.

Could you check if you have the latest version of Visual Studio 2022?
