The request is to have a driver in DataMiner where can receive a subscribed emails, scanning them and trigger an alarm to get alerted using the "Alerter", and the alarm should contain only the email title and body without any extra analysis or translations like attachments or any other formats might be included in the email?
The reason for having such a request is to have a general alerting via email from different systems regardless of those systems are having a driver in DatMiner or not.
And Also to depend on DataMiner as the main alerting system for the Operators.
The capability is definitely there Kawssar, i.e. several customers have deployed drivers that ingest e-mails and parse data from those. I know use cases of customers (broadband providers) that get e-mails from the utility provider to announce planned maintenance on the utility grid (power will be down and the distribution network will be down for some time), and automatically this generates a planned maintenance in DataMiner to masks alarms from that part of the network. Or also a use case where a broadcaster received emails from the EBU with transmission schedules, and ingested that in their DataMiner System. So your use case is definitely possible and not so difficult based on what we have done previously. I don't believe we have a generic driver (e.g. by default transposing some standard fields like the description), but again, that would be quite feasible.
