I have a customer who wants to aggregate data from multiple DMS and he asked me if it's possible to install and use Data Aggregator without being connected to dataminer.services
From the other questions I've seen and the documentation, I'm not sure it's possible.

I had some issues with the aggregator recently and AFAIK, you indeed need to be connected to dataminer.services to make the installation. The prerequisites in the documentation indeed suggest so:
"DataMiner Cloud Pack 2.8.4 or higher must be installed on the server where you want to install Data Aggregator."
Some extra info, there has been a new version of the Aggregator released today, which includes some fixed bugs, so I would recommend installing in that in case of going forward. The concrete version I would recommend is 3.0.7.39315 .

Indeed, the DataAggregator DxM is currently only available through dataminer.services. However, the installer can be requested directly to Skyline for ad-hoc installations.
