I've disconnected my agent from the cloud. However now I'm unable to start my agent because of following error:
2025/10/01 07:49:45.483|SLCloudStorage.txt|SLDataGateway|DataGateway.CloudStorage|ERR|0|28|CloudSettings could not be retrieved from the cloud. Retrying in 00:00:05. Exception: SLCloudStorageConnection.Repositories.Exceptions.CloudSettingsRepositoryException: Failed to do GetCloudAccessTokenRequest. Received the following error messages: { "message": "This DMS is not Cloud Registered." }
How might I start the agent without storage so I can proceed with creating a cloud connection and setting up new STaaS?

In case you disconnected a DMS which was configured with STaaS from dataminer.services and want to re-use it, please contact support@dataminer.services to help restore the connection to STaaS.

The issue lies with DataMiner requiring STaaS to start up if STaaS is set as the database, however if you unregister a system from dataminer.services, the system will no longer be able to use STaaS and as a consequence can not start up.
As a result, if a system was configured for STaaS and then unregistered, support should be contacted to get out of that situation in a proper way. This is unrelated to whether or not you wish to re-use the same STaaS data. STaaS data is lost upon unregistering, as the new identity after re-registering will not be linked to the old STaaS data, recovering this data can be done by contacting support if done within 7 days as per the docs: aka.dataminer.services/staas-data-resilience-and-backups.
Is it the same process if the restored DMS needs to point to a new STaaS (not reusing the old one)?
