Hi,
Question similar to How to link Visio shape to real-time spectrum analyzer (using preset)? - DataMiner Dojo , but a bit of a different use case.
From the Visual Overview of an IRD, we want to link to a spectrum analyzer element, and automatically visualize the output signal of that IRD as a real-time trace.
For that to happen, we need to:
- Configure the correct crosspoint on an L-Band matrix
- Configure the correct settings on the spectrum analyzer by reading them from the IRD
- Open up the spectrum analyzer element
I wonder if we could get there using an automation script, in particular for the second point?
Is it possible to apply individual spectrum settings on the analyzer through a script, in the same way as these would manually be applied?
Can a Visio shape combine execution of a script and navigation to an element?
Thanks!
I'm not sure if this answers all of your questions, but to this:
Can a Visio shape combine execution of a script and navigation to an element?
Yes, you can. Have a go at it.
For bullet points 1 (measurement point) & 2 (inline preset) following feature is being validated :
Realtime spectrum visio component now allows combining an inline preset with one or more measurement points. (RN docu coming up)
Available likely in 10.2.2, at the latest 10.2.3.
