When I haven’t purchased a connector, what’s the best way to know if that connector supports certain parameters eg: C/N margin graphs ?

Hi Tim,

As far as I’m aware there isn’t a public list available with all parameters of a connector.

The best options would be to either verify the catalog that contains the help of the connector, which could reveal some of the parameters that are described there. Another option is to contact the sales department to ask if certain parameters are already present.

P.S. It’s not because a parameter is not present yet that it doesn’t mean that it cannot be added in a new version of the connector. That is also something that could be further discussed with the sales department on what the possible options are.

Hi Tim, Laurens,

Sales can give a trial version at any time to test a specific connector. However, we also don’t know if particular parameters are already present.

So, testing the specific connector is the best way to know if a parameter is already present.

Kind regards,
Wout

I’m not aware of a list, but you can always “export parameters” by right-clicking on protocols version desired as per screen shot below. The output is extremely informative depicting all parameters, IDs, read-write, default alarm limits, etc.

IRT, additional parameters please refer to our connector update policy (Connector Update Policy)

When in doubt on policy, please contact SALES.
