I have recently made a change in a service template and observed some of my services failed to update.
Is there a way from where we can locate which of the service failed to update with a corresponding reason apart from the updation dialog window as attached. The scroll bar of the updation window is not very user friendly neither does it maximizes even after maximizing the window.

the window is indeed not 100% user friendly but normally the failed services should be in there when you scroll down with the message why.

What i did notice, the resolution of your client pc matters a lot, is it possible you are working on a RDP session with a low resolution?
My recommendation would be to open a separate standalone client if possible. This would already improve this box.
Next to that, i think it might be useful to add improvements to the service template UI on the features page, if this is causing problems for many users, this can likely be placed on the roadmap:
