How to duplicate trend and alarm template for different protocol version?

Is it possible to duplicate a template (Alarm / Trend) linked to a Production version, to be applied on a non-production version?

Use case: before applying a new protocol version as Production (to all elements) I want to run it on a limited set of elements as a final test run.
However, I do want to keep all trending / alarming during this period.

Instead of manually re-creating both templates under the new version, I would like to duplicate the existing one.

Hi Mieke,

In the "Protocol & Templates" module, you can right click the template you want to duplicate. In the context menu, select "Duplicate".

This should give you a popup where you can specify which other version of the protocol you want to create the duplicate for, as well as give it a new name.

Hope this helps answer your question.
