Hi Dojo,

I have a staging Agent using STaaS. I would like to create a second staging Agent by duplicating the current one so that I don't need to start from a blank system. What's the procedure to achieve this?

Hi

I suppose you would want to keep all of your data?

To achieve this you would need to take a full DMA backup and then register the system again with a different identity towards dataminer.services. Once this is done we could copy over your data so the new system can access it.

This would effectively make sure that you can keep all of your configuration on the DataMiner itself and all of the data that is stored in dataminer.services.

You can find more information on backup and restore procedures in the documentation:

  • Restoring a DataMiner Agent | DataMiner Docs
  • Backing up a DataMiner Agent using DataMiner Taskbar Utility | DataMiner Docs

Hope this helps.
