How to disable “Comment added by Dataminer…” in the Alarm Console?

Hi there,

Is there a way to disable dataminer adding comments itself when monitored elements get into timeout and get cleared..?

We want to start using this built-in column "Comment" for our NOC operations instead of using a custom alarm property "alarm.tag".

We are aware of possibility using "OWNER" but this feature behavior is not what the NOC wants.

And we are testing a workaround to filter out those records that are created by the dataminer but that entails adding additional filtering onto our filtered alarm tabs...

Hi Ramunas,

I don’t believe such an option exists. The best way to proceed would be to filter out any alarms that are not relevant to you.
