I had a problem that my Agent wouldn't start up anymore due to too less available disk space for Cassandra. I noticed that the files in the Logging/WatchDog folder had a file size greater than 6 GB. Is there a file in which I can specify the number of files to keep or the lifetime of a file?
The Logging\WatchDog\Reports and Logging\WatchDog\Notifications folders are currently limited to storing 90 days of entries (30 days before 9.6 CU12/10.0 CU1).
There are currently no options available to override this.
There's a task on the backlog to do better cleanup on the WatchDog\Notifications folder. In cases where a lot thread problems/RTEs occur, the log file copies in there can take up a lot of space.
The only workaround for now is to manually delete files from this folder if it would take up too much space.
