How to check if an Element is Masked?

Through an Automation Script, I would like to check if an element is masked or not.
I thought I had to use the IDmsElement State property to do so, but this returns Active.

What do I need to use to check if an element is Masked?

You can read parameter id 65008 (which is visualised on the general parameters page).
