In which DataMiner version did you encounter an issue using the right-click menu Tom proposed? Does the issue still occur after you upgrade?

As this question has now been open for a long time and there has been no further reaction from you, I will now close it. If you still want more information about this, could you post a new question?

Hi Seetharam,

To export the information events you could select all events and choose Copy > All Columns in the right-click context menu. Then you can paste this data in Excel and save the file.

More information about the right-click menu of the alarm console can be found here.

Hi Seetharam,
Do you still have this issue after upgrading DataMiner? If yes, in which DataMiner version are getting this?

Hi Seetharam,

You can select one of the information events in your tabpage and drag it to excel. This will copy the entire information events list to the excel file.

dataminer says history span too big.

Only last 100,000 alarms can be retrived to information event TAB.

Michaël Pincket [SLC] [DevOps Advocate] commented 7th December 2023

Hi Seetharam,

This is a limitation for the history tabpages. We only load the most recent 100,000 alarms/information events in the selected timerange.

Gerwin van der Kamp [DevOps Enabler] commented 7th December 2023

can this be done with an automation script to handle more then 100,000 entries?

Michaël Pincket [SLC] [DevOps Advocate] commented 8th December 2023

Hi Gerwin,

No, the automation script will also apply the limitation of 100,000 alarms/information events.
