Hi Dojo,

In 10.2 MR, I want the value of ‘Scale’ to be displayed in place of the ‘*’, hence I have configured the shape data like this : (Note that the element 344 is a spectrum analyzer element, running v 1.0.2.2 of protocol SED Decimator 8 port)

However, after doing this the output is

How can I retrieve the value ? Note that 51172 comes from

Looking forward to your inputs. Thank you 🙂

Hi Arun,

If the value was displayed before the upgrade, this behavior could be related to a SW issue.

To give some context, The parameter IDs available in the overview are coming from the spectrum monitors created for the spectrum analyzer element.

When creating a spectrum monitor, you have the option to monitor a variable available in the script linked to the spectrum monitor (in your case, ‘scale’ should come from Amplitude scale). When enabling the monitoring, a new parameter will be created in the file Description.xml. This file should be located under the spectrum element folder. You should be able to find in this file a definition for the parameter ID showed in your screenshot.

It could be the case that after the upgrade we are no longer able to display in a overview values from parameters defined in the file Description.xml. Maybe we could create a task to further investigate this issue?

Confirmed with SW team that this is an issue introduced in 10.1.8
