Getting Redundancy Group information based on Element ID

Hello Dojo,

Does any of you know if it is possible to get Redundancy Group information (like ID or Name) from an Element ID on automation? I am looking for a way of getting the Redundancy Group a specific element belongs to.

I know it is possible to know the IDs of the elements by using the Redundancy Groups ID or Name, or even using a SLNetCall that will give me all the Redundancy Groups of the system. But I was interesting in knowing if there is a more efficient way of getting that information without having to get all redundancy groups?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Kind regards,

Carolina

Hi Carolina,

Is it not an option to use:

  • FindRedundancyGroup(int,int)
  • FindRedundancyGroup(string)
  • FindRedundancyGroupByKey(string)

Hope it helps.

Hello Miguel, thanks for your reply! However, that’s not exactly what I am looking for.
I wanted this, but with entry of an element ID.

In other words, I have the element and I want to know what is the Redundancy group he belongs to.
I know that we have SLNet calls that can get all redundancy groups or even filtered by name or ID, but I was trying to get a more efficient way of getting this information
