Final Actions in Scheduler for Once Executed Tasks

Solved311 views16th January 2025launch script Scheduler Task

Hello,

I am creating a scheduled task in the DM Scheduler and cannot find a way to create a task that includes both a single start action and a final action.

It seems that final actions are only available for repeating scheduled tasks, as they require a defined timespan.

For instance, I want a script to execute once for device configuration purposes, and after a specified time period, the deconfiguration should occur as part of the task’s final actions.

Could you please clarify if this is currently possible or suggest an alternative approach? Should this feature be considered for implementation?

Best regards

Hi David,

You can create basic events in the scheduler with a start and stop action.
To do this, you first need to define a scheduler template in the automation module.

More details on how to do this can be found here.
