Hi Support,

We are trying to setup failover on our environment.

  1. Do we need 2 application servers?
  2. if so how does the failover option work?

Hi,

Yes, you will need two servers for one 1+1 DMA failover setup.

For more details, feel free to use this link: https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Advanced_Functionality/Failover/failover.html

Regards,

Koen

Hello King Karasha,

If you want to setup Failover you will always need at least 2 DataMiner Agents. One of the agent will be your “Active” agent and the other one will be the “Failover” agent.

You can find more information about failover here.

Hope this information helps you.

Wkr,

Baptiste Pattyn
