Hello,

We recently upgraded our cluster to 10.4.11 and wanted to install a hotfix on top of it.
The HF was uploaded correctly to all agents but when executed, it failed on a few agents with this error :

General|2024-11-12 10:07:36|error|Failed launching upgrade to 10.93.1x.xx: No such upgrade has been prepared to execute
General|2024-11-12 10:07:36|error|Failed launching upgrade to 10.93.1x.yy: No such upgrade has been prepared to execute
General|2024-11-12 10:07:36|error|Failed launching upgrade to 10.93.1x.zz: No such upgrade has been prepared to execute

The only reason I can think of is, both the upgrade & HF packages were uploaded on Nov 7 but executed on Nov 12. While the upgrade package succeeded, the HF package failed on select agents with the above error.

The upgrade logs on the failed agents do not reveal anything except that HF was correctly uploaded.
May I know why this occurs ? Thank you in advance.

Hi,

I learned that this is caused by the package being uploaded and then the agents/DMS being restarted prior to executing. This is being investigated and fixed, but in the meantime they can be run manually from each agent.
