is there any documentation regarding ETL systems 23124 driver ??
dataminer seems to send data on bus address 65 but ends in time out
device is back from repairs but does not work anymore with DatMiner they did NOT do a firmware upgraded in the device ,nor did they wiped settings so should be plug and pray ( in our case 😉 )
device is working properly with its own webinterface
any suggestions would be great

Hi Arie-Jan,
Can you have a look through the webinterface if there are some settings in the device that could block the serial communication? Most devices have a setting to enable remote control or something similar.
You could also use a third-party tool (e.g. Putty or Hercules) to verify if the device is responding to the DataMiner server. If this doesn't work, then it will also not work from DataMiner. Wireshark could also provide some extra information for you.

You could use a capture filter with the IP of the device (e.g. ‘host 10.10.10.10’). Once you have the WireShark capture, you should be able to tell if there is a problem with setting up the TCP connection or if resets are requested, …
hi Michiel, the device is in remote mode , according to the vendor there where no upgrades done nor did they change settings … should be plug and play
do you have any suggestions on what to configure in wireshark to monitor it
