The sldbconnection logging is complaining that the value of parameter 'password' is null.
Looking at the db.xml file on the offline DMA it looks ok.
Would there be anything else we could check to find out what is going on?

The DB.xml file seems correctly configured.
The restart was done to complete the installation of ElasticSearch.
Yes, some differences should be present: like one of them should shown ‘online’, the other ‘offline’.

Would it be possible to check whether or not you have a: "<PWD>root</PWD>" tag and value under the <Database> tag with type="cassandra"?

Jeroen, Can you explain what do you mean by DB.xml configuration being OK on the offline DMA? Is there a particular significance to the restart of the offline DMA?
Also do you need any difference between DB.xml of active and offline DMA’s? As Thomas mentioned, I have not seen for Cassandra in a hash (or hex) format before and it’s always in plain text.
