Hi Dojo users,
I have a SLScripting process that is gone rogue; could be a memory leak as it has an ascendent trending in the last 5 weeks.
Can I close the SLScripting process from task manager without triggering a software restart ?
Thanks.
Hi,
If SLScripting is closed from the task manager then a new SLScripting process will be started without restarting the DMA.
Do note however that this might result in unwanted behavior as for example some connectors rely on a QAction that was executed at the start of the element and stores data in memory, which will now be gone. For this reason it is better to restart the DMA to be sure that everything will still work fine.
There is a task in our backlog to automatically restart involved elements when there are multiple SLScripting processes, but this is not available yet.
Regards,
