I am running two DMAs in two different domains. These two DMAs are clustered.
After installing updates on the servers these two DMAs sometimes lose their connection with each other. The workaround always was adding the user credentials in the dms.xml in plain text and restarting Dataminer. Afterwards the user credentials were encrypted and the whole DMS was running again like before.
This time it did not work. The user password stays in plain text and the DMA in the other domain has the status "unknown" when i check the agents in the system panel.
Connecting via SLNetClientTest works fine in both directions.
What else can i do?

it could be the case to add a connection string (Editing the connection string between two DataMiner Agents | DataMiner Docs) .. but my advise is to send the question to techsupport@skyline.be
and collecta a LogCollecor package Collecting data to report an issue to Technical Support | DataMiner Docs) from both agents.
