Disabling SMB protocol on DMAs

Hi Dojo,
as part of a new Security Service Pack required internally, the SMB protocol would be disabled: not aware of any usage or specific dependencies on this for the DataMiner application, but is there any specific transfer or consideration we might need while testing in a staging cluster?

Hi Alberto,

To my knowledge, the DataMiner software itself does not rely on the SMB protocol / file sharing, so disabling SMB should be ok.

If used from anywhere, it would probably be specific individual drivers or automation scripts that use this from their QActions/script code.
