Disabling DVE Components

Hello Dojo Community,

I carried out an exercise disabling some DVEs that were erroneously enabled on some sites which were reporting many alarms and giving all sorts of disturbances in our monitoring ecosystem. I went the long route disabling one after the other (as attached below) on all the sites which was laborious and less efficient in my view. Is there any other way of batch running this with a view to having this kind of task done effortlessly and more efficiently?

Hi Samson,

An automation script would be best suited for this.

You can loop over the DVE Management table rows and change the DVE state based on the conditions of your preference.

More info on how to get started with automation can be found here and here.

Hi Samson,

you can use a QAction on the protocol to disable/delete the DVEs when the status is “Deleted” to automate this task.
